Elbow were commissioned to produce 23 AVs and interactives for the new Museum at Taunton Castle. These included a stunning introductory programme showing specially shot, high definition aerial footage of the county; an in-depth documentary about the values of contemporary soldiering; a provocative 6-screen talking heads experience about Somerset life; a 4-screen collage of Somerset archive film; an interactive board game based on travel in Somerset through the ages; an updateable interactive scrap book of Somerset collectors; a life-size, figurative wall projection; a newly commissioned cartoon featuring moving mosaic figures and telling the story of Dido and Aeneas; plus immersive ambient sound scapes and character-based voice recordings.
